terms & Conditions

Retreats & Trainings

When you sign up for a training, retreat or session via down payment or full payment, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

1. Retreat Pricing + Itinerary Changes

All prices are per person and are listed on the Training/Retreat info page.  Prices include retreat costs only inclusive of lodging and most meals. Please see website for list of inclusions for each individual retreat.  Cost does not include airfare or ground transport to and from the retreat.  While every effort is made to keep to all published itineraries, we reserve the right to make changes due to extreme circumstances. In some cases, weather conditions or “acts of god” (e.g. pandemic) can necessitate an alteration in the event itinerary, such as the included excursions and activities and this does not constitute a reason for refund. No refund for unused services will be considered.

2. Deposit & Payment Terms

Reserve your spot with a non-refundable deposit per person ($666 non-refundable deposit). Final balances are due as indicated per your payment plan.  Payment plans are available and must be set up directly with Temple Codes. There is a 5% surcharge to the total retreat pricing for all payment plans. If you sign up for the training/retreat after the final payment due date, then the entire retreat payment is due to secure your spot.

3. Retreat Payment

Payment can be made by PayPal via payment link. There will be an additional 3% processing fee for PayPal payments.

Your Retreat Tuition Is Non-Refundable.

For this reason (though not required), it is HIGHLY recommended that you purchase travel insurance within 2 weeks of registration. There are plans that cover trip cancellation for any reason and trip cancellation for medical reasons only. Please be sure to review these details carefully. If full payment is not received or there is an issue with processing your payment by the agreed upon due date, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation and fill your spot with no refunds. We will make every effort to avoid this situation by contacting you prior to and on the date the balance is due.

4. Cancellation & Transfer Policy

If you wish to cancel your retreat you must notify Temple Codes in writing by emailing thetemplecodes@gmail.comYou may cancel your retreat at any time but there are no refunds on payments plans or the non-refundable deposit.

There are no refunds, partial credits, or transfers of funds. You may transfer your retreat reservation to someone else up to one month before the retreat start date.  This must be requested in writing and approved prior to transfer.

Exceptions to our cancellation policy cannot be made for ANY reason, including weather, terrorism, civil unrest, COVID-19, health changes, personal emergencies or otherwise. There is no refund for arriving late or leaving a trip early. For this reason we highly recommend purchasing Travel Insurance.  CFAR (cancel for any reason) coverage is the widest coverage and typically must be purchased within a set number of days after initial deposit.

5. Retreat Cancellations

Temple Codes reserves the right to make any changes deemed necessary; including, but not limited to: staffing assignments, advertised excursions, arranged transportation, advertised meals, etc. In the highly unlikely, rare and extreme case of a retreat cancellation, Temple Codes will offer a full refund of your payment less the non-refundable deposit. Temple Codes is not responsible for any expenses or damages incurred as a result of retreat cancellation including preparation costs, airline tickets, travel documents or other expenses. You will not be entitled to claim any additional amounts or seek any compensation for any injury, loss, expenses or damages (either direct or consequential) or for any loss of time or inconvenience which may result from such cancellation (including but not limited to visa, passport, gear purchases, airport and airline taxes).

6. Trip Insurance

It is highly recommended that participants purchase individual trip insurance for international retreats. We HIGHLY recommend purchasing a cancel for any reason (CFAR) trip insurance as it is the most comprehensive coverage you can purchase. Please note, Temple Codes is NOT responsible for denied claims or insufficient coverage as we are not a trip insurance agency. Cancel for Any Reason coverage is the only policy with the widest “net” to protect your investment. Temple Codes will not be held responsible for any delay, additional expense or inconvenience that may be caused directly or indirectly by events outside of our control (ie: late arrival/departure of flights, civil disturbance, fire, flood, cyclones, severe weather, acts of God, and acts of government, machinery or equipment failure, or cancellations for any reason.) No refunds will be given for “no shows” or days not used resulting from the above aforementioned.

7. Travel Documents and Immunizations

It is the responsibility of each traveler to obtain all required travel documents including passports and Visas. Information regarding necessary documentation is provided as necessary or you can contact us for more detailed information.

8. Roommate Assignments

Retreat rates are per person. Double shared rooms require shared occupancy for the specified room rate. By booking a shared room, you agree to be paired with a fellow soul. If you have a friend joining you for our training/retreat and would like to room with them, please have both parties inform us of your desires and we will do our best to pair you with your desired roommate. If you do not specify a roommate(s), we will match you with an incredible sister to share in this journey with.

9. Assumption of Risk

I acknowledge that I have voluntarily enrolled to participate in trainings, retreats or sessions. In consideration of this, I agree to this release of claims, waiver of liability and assumption of risks. On behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, successors, administrators, and any other person who may have an interest at common law or by operation of statute, I hereby waive any and all claims I or such parties may have now or in the future. I release from liability Temple Codes any employees, guides, agents or representatives (“the releases”) for any personal injury, death, property damage or loss or any nature suffered by me as a result of participation in any activity on the retreat. I release from liability Temple Codes for any cause whatsoever including those arising out of, or in any way connected to or occasioned by the negligence of the releases.

10.  Release and Waiver of Liability

I understand that there will be a retreat photographer documenting our journey.  I Agree to be photographed and or captured on video for the purpose of documentation and marketing. If for any reason you do not want to be documented please contact Temple Codes directly.  By initialing, I agree to media usage release prior to participating in the retreat.

If you have any questions regarding these terms, please contact us prior to booking your retreat.
